Acutonics and Sound Healing
Acutonics is a system of vibrational sound healing rooted in Oriental Medicine. It utilizes tuning forks calibrated to the planets in our solar system, along with Tibetan singing bowls, bells, gongs, drums and rattles. Like acupuncture, Acutonics works with the body’s vital energy to restore proper function. A person is a living entity of vibrations and wavelengths and a healthy being is well-tuned, while the frequency of sick individuals is disturbed. We are made of the same elements that compose the earth and the planets and experiencing the tones in a session brings a body back into healthy harmony with planetary cycles. Since we are over 80% water, sound waves of the forks travel along meridian pathways, going deep into the body. Our cellular rhythms are reset as we are perfect resonators for experiencing the restorative power of sound. |

The Acutonics tuning forks are calibrated to the tones of the earth, moon, sun and other planets in our solar system. Known since antiquity as the Music of the Spheres, the tones and principles are based on the discoveries of the Sumerians, Pythagoras, Kepler and Chinese Medicine. NASA has recorded many of these tones. During a treatment, tones will be selected dependent upon what is needed. One can look at planetary archetypes and know what could be helpful. For example, Neptune, god of the sea, happens to have a Hz that is useful for clogged sinuses. This tone can be used as the planetary neti pot.
In an Acutonics session, the tuning forks will be held on acupuncture points. Some forks are utilized above the body in sweeping motions. Tibetan bowls are placed on the body and/or around the body and tapped. A vibration is felt and like acupuncture, one usually feels peaceful and may cat nap. Acutonics is pain free, non-invasive and there is no need to disrobe. Since the forks must be held on points, a session is private as your practitioner must be engaged in the treatment for its entirety. An Acutonics treatment is a private session. The fee is $90 an hour. |
